Students in Grade 4 participated in the Boar'sHead Festival.

It takes a lot of hard work and dedication but it is worth the effort to bring the Christmas message to our community.

Special Dress-Up Day

Students in 4th grade had a special dress-up day.

Each student dressed to represent his/her state.

Outfits were very creative and we had a lot of fun!

Recorder Class

4th grade recorder class has learned many new songs.

We even played in chapel!

We Are Family

The 4th Grade classroom theme is "We Are Family."  

We treat each other as a family unit.

This was a fun religion lesson.  We were studying the Tower of Babel and students were attempting to build a tower with playing cards. They were not allowed to talk!  We were able to experience the confusion and frustration that took place in Biblical times.

More Place Value Math

Math Lesson - Place Value

This was a fun math lesson! Students put very expensive price tags on items, then arranged the large numbers in order.  Connor and Emelio are sporting $32,000 hats.

Grade 4 is very proud that we do not waste food at lunch.  David is wearing the EMPTY garbage bucket to prove it.  Way to go 4th Grade!

First Test

Our first ELA evaluation will be Friday.  Students will identify subjects and verbs in sentences, and will also correct run-on sentences.  Parents, please let us take this test on our own.  No studying at home for this test.  Corrected tests will be in the Friday Folder.

First Week Success

Our first week of school went very well.  Please remember to bring a family photo for our bulletin board.  Students in Grades 2-4 will sing at the special anniversary service on Sunday, September 28.
This special day has a special service time:  10 am.
