Boar's Head Festival Participation

 Many of our 7th grade students were involved in the Boar's Head Festival.  It takes a lot of time and dedication to make this wonderful mission project possible.

Outsiders Dress Up Day

 The Greasers and Socs are ready for our dress-up day.

The class enjoyed the movie, but the book was MUCH better.

English Lesson Fun

 We had some fun in English class while learning the rules for subject-verb agreement.

 Students had to create an ad for a musical group. The ad included the words "and, or, and nor."

Then the groups performed!  Some of the rhythms were very entertaining!

Halloween Fun

This is an amazing picture of the music students in grades 5-8.

Having a school that provides the opportunity to be in both band and choir is a real privilege.

VLHS Music Extravaganza

 We completely enjoyed the music presented by Valley Lutheran High School students.

 We heard the choir, band, praise band, jazz band, and a sneak preview of the play.

We look pretty awesome in our band & choir t-shirts.

 We got together with our 1st Grade chapel buddies and made Luther's coat of arms.

 The cross is for Jesus; the heart is for love.

 The flower reminds us of faith from above.

 The blue sky is for heaven so joyful and free!

 The ring has no end - just like God's love for me!

Habitat for Humanity Field Trip

The class traveled to the Habitat for Humanity Restore and made bird houses for new home owners.

 The new home owners will appreciate this service project.
