End of the Year

The last project of the year was a science experiment.
We made our own ice cream and it was delicious!
This was a great year.
As several 4th grade students stated, " I loved this year.  I loved it when the whole class read books together.  Also I like how we did fun things with other grades.  I like that we are a Christian family and we help one another."

Field Trip to Wescourt

Karina shows the bird feeder we made at Wescourt.

The 4th grade class spent Tuesday morning with the residents of Wescourt Assisted Living Community.  The class sang some songs,  read a poem, and mingled with the residents.  We made bird feeders out of cherrios and pipe cleaners.  We ended our morning with a snack of chocolate chip cookies and milk.  It was nice to meet new people and spend some time with the grandmas and grandpas at Wescourt.

The 4th grade class finished reading a very good book called Frindle.
Students pose with the book and their "frindles."
Lauren enjoys the book.
