Math Lesson - Place Value

This was a fun lesson!

Students practiced reading and writing large numbers correctly.

The 4th grade students now know the place-value columns, including the millions column.

Welcome Back 2015

Welcome back to the new school year! The classroom theme for 2015 is 4th Grade Pride. Our bulletin board will show how, just as a lion pride cares for its own, the 4th grade family protects and cares for each other.  Each 4th grade student is asked to provide a photo of themselves with someone they love.  
It can be a parent, grandparent, sibling, friend, pet, or anyone you love. I am looking forward to seeing all of you soon!

End of the Year

The last project of the year was a science experiment.

We made our own ice cream and it was delicious!

This was a great year.

As several 4th grade students stated, " I loved this year.  I loved it when the whole class read books together.  Also I like how we did fun things with other grades.  I like that we are a Christian family and we help one another."

Jameson and Cole have found a treat in the fridge.

This has been a great year!  Time to clean out the fridge for the summer.
