Social Studies - Africa

We have begun our study of Africa.

Today we researched the 54 countries and the 2,000 languages of Africa.

First Day 2018

Welcome to 7th Grade!

We join our hands in service to each other, our community, and our school.

Have a great year!

End of Year Service Project

Our clean-up crew for the service day project worked very hard!

The church and school grounds look great!

End of Year - Chapel Buddies

We ended the year with a kick-ball game and art with our chapel buddies.

 Have a great summer everyone!

MAP Prep

The date is Friday, May 25.

Our class continues to work hard in preparation for the MAP test.

The 7th grade class has been achieving awesome scores on the test and we have one more test next Thursday.

Today, the class played a MAP review game that was created by three students:  David, Andrew, and Rachel.  The game was called "MAP Hat."

Parts of speech (such as gerund, adverb phrase, participle) were drawn out of a hat, and students had fifteen seconds to make a list of examples.  The winner chose a prize.

End of Year Activities

As the end of the year approaches, our class enjoys recreation and fellowship outside.

But as the end of the 7th grade year approaches, students are still staying focused on studying for the MAP test.

We have very high expectations this year and the confidence for the MAP is real!

Mother's Day

Students are working on Mother's Day messages.

Moms are such an important part of our lives.

Thank you, Mom, for all you do.

We love you, Mom!
