Mercury and Gemini had many missions before Apollo.
The class learned about how much competition existed between the USA and USSR.
Pastor Buckhahn shared so many important historic details about space travel.
He brought books, pictures, articles, and models.
The Russians sent a dog into space. The US sent a chimp into space.
This class can't wait until the trip to DC in 8th grade!
Students will take a trip to the Smithsonian Air and Space Museum.
Ask our students about roll, pitch, and yaw.
Spacecraft needed to control these 3 movements to be successful.
